Business challenges

Fast growing business in multiple locations - how to organize, train and promote people who can become store managers. MIG believes that the creators of the successful business are people. That belief encouraged MIG to invest in employees, as that constitutes organizational success. The first step to assure employees development and involvement was to find a modern way to deal with the whole employment life cycle management and talent management. The company was planning to implement competency model, goals cascading and related employee appraisal process. The company needed solution that would be flexible and help the whole organization not only HR department.

Solution and benefits

The first stage of Skilo implementation lasted several weeks and included:

  • Org structure
  • Competency model
  • Business goals cascading
  • Employee appraisal process
  • Training management

Crucial for MIG was to simplify and unify the competency model and position descriptions. It facilitates the work of a sales managers with easy access to information, process automation, ready to use templates and easy reporting.
